Machinery Equipment Comprehensive Appraisals

Heavy equipment appraisal

 This type of appraisal is conducted with an onsite inspection including photos of each item. This is a comprehensive appraisal.  We collect all the physical data and photos on the machinery or equipment you want appraised. 

Machinery Equipment Summary Appraisals

Construction equipment appraisal

 This type of appraisal is conducted with an onsite inspection, but without photos. This is called a summary appraisal.  We collect all the physical data on the machinery or equipment you want appraised. 

Desktop Appraisals

In some instances an appraisal may be conducted without an onsite inspection. This is called a desktop appraisal. We can provide you with a desktop appraisal, saving you considerable time and money. You would be responsible for collecting all the physical data on the machinery or equipment you want appraised. Minimum information required for assets to be appraised would be:

-Manufacturer

-Model

-Serial Number

-Original Cost and Acquisition Date

-Photos

  • Mike Tope is trained and certified as a CEA (Certified Equipment Appraiser) through the Association of Machinery & Equipment Appraiser (AMEA), a large network of machinery and equipment appraisers. This gives him the most up to date appraisal information available to accurately value your machinery and equipment. 
  • All members of the AMEA must comply with the ethics rule of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and observe the highest standards of professional ethics.  Each appraisal you request utilizes USPAP.  USPAP was adopted by Congress and is accepted around the world as the authoritative source for machinery, equipment and business appraisals. 
  • Appraisal reports submitted by a Certified Equipment Appraiser(CEA) are USPAP compliant and will withstand scrutiny by the IRS, courts, lenders and others.
